Image-Guided SRT
Image-Guided Superficial Radiation Therapy, or Image-Guided SRT, is a non-surgical treatment option for non-melanoma skin cancer that uses low amounts of radiation, causing damage and ultimately, the death of cancer cells, allowing healthy tissue to grow back in its place. The procedure is a painless, non-invasive treatment that will have no impact on daily activities. Best of all, it has a 99 percent cure rate!
The ONLY clinic in Northeast Iowa to provide
Image-Guided SRT!

The Advantages of
Image-Guided SRT in Comparison to Surgery

With Image-Guided SRT
- Typically, a patient will be in and out of the clinic in 15 minutes or less each session.
- There is no surgery, bleeding, stiches and surgical scars. Image-Guided SRT is a non-surgical, non-invasive treatment for skin cancer.
- There is a reduced risk of infection.
- There is a reduced risk for short-term and long-term nerve damage that often comes with typical skin cancer treatments.
- There is no need for anesthesia or other pain-management medication.
- Patients can return to their daily activities immediately after treatment
See the Results for Yourself
Before Treatment
Basal Cell cancer is present on top of the patient’s ear. The ultrasound image shows a large, dark area under the skin which indicates cancer.
Mid-Treatment
Halfway through the treatment, the cancer has reduced in size externally. The ultrasound image shows that the cancer is being reduced internally as well.
Two-Week Follow-up
Two weeks after the treatment is completed, the outside of the ear shows absolutely NO signs of cancer. The ultrasound image shows that the treatment continues to eliminate the cancer internally. At the 30-week follow-up appointment, the ultrasound shows no sign of skin cancer.
